Course A: Workshop 'A magical introduction'

During this workshop, participants gain insight into the benefits of using ‘Magic in the treatment room’. Based on this experience, they can decide for themselves whether they want to apply the Magic4Care methodology to support anxious children. The workshop ‘A magical introduction’ focuses mainly on ways to make contact with the child in a playful way. It can help shift the child’s focus from tension and fear to amazement and fun in a playful manner tailored to the child.

Contents:
This sparkling magic workshop offers both a theoretical framework ‘Why is magic a unique way to connect with children’, and a practical part in which students have the opportunity to practice the magic tricks specially selected for them. What you have learned can be put into practice the next day.

• Duration: 1.5 to 2.5 hours
• You will be introduced to magic as an anxiety & stress reducing agent
• Suitable for children from four years old
• Customized and suitable for team building Including simple magic box

The working methods in this training are suitable for:
Paediatricians, pediatric nurses/MPZs/anaesthetists/doctor’s assistants, child therapists.

The study load:
Ten hours in total. The training can be followed without preparation. The study load consists of 2.5 contact hours.

Costs:
The costs are € 725,- per organization/institution (Up to 20 participants. Magic4Care is exempt from VAT.)
